The receptionist sitting at Desk #2 appeared to be in a bad mood. I don’t understand how someone in customer service can treat people that way. She spoke rudely to a child simply because he turned off the light. The clinical staff was excellent, but the customer service provided by that front desk representative was very poor. A more respectful and friendly attitude toward patients and their families would make a big difference.

I had a very disappointing experience with North Queens Surgical Center while trying to schedule and discuss my appointment. I was experiencing significant pain and had several questions about my care. When I tried to explain my concerns, the staff member repeatedly interrupted me, spoke in a raised voice, and told me not to interrupt her, even when I was simply trying to ask questions. I had a very disappointing experience with this surgical center. I called because I was in significant pain and had questions about my upcoming procedure. Instead of receiving help and understanding, I was repeatedly interrupted and spoken to in a rude and disrespectful manner by the staff member handling appointments. Staff is highly unprofessional. Tried to retrieve my own records and nobody picked up the phone. When I called receptionist to ask about it they cut me off to transfer me over again without hearing what I needed to ask for. Would not recommend I came in for procedure on my right shoulder. They told me that my procedure was going to be a 9 o'clock when they called me to schedule. They gave me a ticket and told me to sit down and wait for my ticket number to be called and that's how the order of the will go buy a ticket which is absolutely unacceptable I didn't have my procedure until after 1 o'clock after they told me the previous day to fast for eight hours so imagine sitting and waiting for your surgery to be done and you've been fasting for e... read more
