On a recent visit to Fairbanks we stayed in a lodge that always had North Pole Coffee (North Pole Blend) ready and hot all day, every day. They also served other blends of The NorthPole. We feel in love with this coffee and purchased that particular blend to have at home. It's mild and has a smooth natural taste. Not a heavy chocolate or citrus flavor (that makes up the Blend) but you can taste that something is different about the flavor. It's a nice way to start the day as well as to have it during the day. Absolutely, the best dark roast coffee I've found anywhere, and I'm a total coffee snob. I am in New England and regularly order online from NPCR, its worth the shipping cost. Super fast shipping too. Highly recommend! *****
Stopped in to test the beans. Decent coffee - much better than the typical American roaster. Medium roast espresso - not the typical burnt bitter stuff of most US coffee shops
