We waited over 2 hours to be seen. Then at least 45 minutes in the room. It should not take almost 3 hours for an appointment. Then the receptionist kept lying about the wait time. I think she knew that it would take hours to be seen. Yet, she kept saying she wasn't sure. They really should be ashamed of themselves to keep patients waiting that long.
Brought my dog to the appointment with me and my baby, the dog was in its bag carrier the whole time not barking. No where does it say dogs arent allowed, but was asked to bring the dog out of the office. I need my boyfriend to stay and help me bc i was holding the baby. We were met with "security" to remove the dog. I asked if he could stay incase i needed help and he said the dog needed to be removed or the physician wont see us. The majority of the NPs here are great. However, scheduling has become a nightmare over the last year. We have been having to utilize urgent care lately more than ever because we can't get an appointment for sick visits when needed. I called in August for a vaccination appointment and was told they were booked 2 months out. An appointment was made for October. I called to verify because I did not receive a confirmation call. We have been loyal patients since my baby girl was born 16 years ago. Have always had exceptional care, but today was phenomenal. ‘Baby’ girl (now 16) has always been traumatized by vaccines/injections since being sick when toddler, but the patience and attention given to her today - made a momma cry. Thank you SO MUCH to both Ms Melissa (the NP) and Ms Sharon (nurse giving the vaccines). You both made the experience so LESS painful and traumatic for her. Many, many thanks!
