I have been taking my pets to North Madison Animal Hospital for almost 14 years. The doctors, techs, and reception staff at this clinic are THE BEST. Having lived in other larger cities before moving to Jackson, I had grown accustomed to veterinary practices where you feel like your pets are just numbers on an invoice...but NOT this place. Please don’t take your pet here. I chose the “low cost” neuter option for my dog. I don’t know which vet did his surgery but it was obviously someone who didn’t care. His stitching came undone 3 days after surgery. It became infected. So of course, I took him back here to be checked out. They had to sedate my dog and redo the stitches but this time a different technique was used (according to the vet that did it the second time). Dr. Fleming is amazing and truly cares for all her pet patients. Very caring and understanding of how to help your pets. The entire staff is incredible, nice, and welcoming as well as highly trained in their areas. The only place I will take my 4 dogs and have used them for years. I have so many great things to say about them all!
My lil best friend Bailey was in pain and my regular vet near Pinson couldn't take him for a week. Went online with North Madison and was immediately able to book a next day appt with an extremely caring Veterinarian. I'm switching Vets. Thank you North Madison. My dog means the world to me. I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who are so heartbroken and devastated right now by the awful “care” they received at this vet. I want to warn people before their beloved pets are ripped away from them unnecessarily, which is what happened to my family. Winston, the sweet, loving, funny bulldog pictured, had been walking awkwardly when my parents took him to the vet. The workup revealed bladder stones.
