I was referred to Northlakes to have a couple cracks in the transom of my john boat welded. Nick took care of it, and warned me that it was only temporary, and likely to re-crack after a while. He was correct, and the weight of my motor caused the welds to break after about a year. He mentioned at the time of the repair that a more substantial repair would be necessary to make it hold up.
