I moved to BC from Manitoba on July 8th. On October 12, I started having excruciating pain. By midnight on the 13th, I went to the hospital. By 4 am, I was seen put on IV, given pain meds, and seen by a doctor. By 9:45 I was given a thorough ultrasound and by 5:30 I was in the OR. Prior to surgery Dr Thompson came to see me and explained the procedure to me. By the following morning I was back home. I can’t thank the staff enough for their kindness and level of professionalism. Joseph Beaucage

Sincerely grateful for everyone at the hospital who were there in September when I had to go to emergency and surgery. Everyone from the volunteers to the nurses, lab technicians, porters and doctors displayed competence and professionalism - everyone knew what they were doing. They acknowledged the pain I was having, made sure I was comfortable and treated me like I was one of their own. It does take a village not just to raise a child but to care for each other. Thank you from the bottom of my forever grateful heart.

Great care given by excellent doctors, nurses and all the other staff. I left feeling well cared for and supported. I enjoyed every meal I was served really amazing how they keep the hot food hot and the cold food cold. Nobody wants to be in the hospital but the week I spent in there was much better than I expected and I came home feeling supported and actually feel much better
