My throat swelled up so bad that I couldn't swallow, and was struggling to breathe. My wife called 811 and they told her to take me to the ER. I said that was a waste of time, as they wouldn't do anything to help me. But, I ended up going anyway. Turns out it was a waste of time, they didn't do anything to help me. The doctor at the ER was very rude and dismissive. He just assumed I was faking it and threw me out. Why is our health care system so incredibly bad? I had an ultrasound scheduled. I waited less than 5 minutes for the appointment. Then I had to go for an x-ray and there was no wait even though I didn't have an appointment. The only problem is the parking. Plan at least 10 - 15 minutes to find a parking spot.
