I highly recommend Dr. Dietz! I suffered badly with sciatica in both of my legs every day for 5 years. Dr. Dietz performed a laminectomy in January 2023 and I am totally pain free now Thank you, Dr. Dietz for giving my back life again!
Dr Dietze ruined my brothers life. He has had nothing but pain and suffering since his surgery. Dr Dietze wasn’t even available during his post op checks. My brother, as well as our family, has tried to get Dr Dietze to correct the issues he made and refused! Now my brother is currently in the ICU with a head full of blood unable to speak or move. I would never recommend this office or have anything nice to say concerning this practice.
Love the staff and Dr problem is wait time is hours and can't get appt. Had surgery month ago still can't get in for Dr even with problems. Numbness and pain and nothing can't even get a nurse call back.
AMAZING NEUROSURGEON! Dr. Dietze performed a cervical implant with a 1-stage fusion AND a lumbar implant with a 2-stage implant. He has the BEST bed-side Manor! I wouldn't trust my back problems with any other doctor!
Dr Dietz completed my Lumbar/Fusion on 5/8/2017 And my Cervical Open Door Laminectomy on 10/10/2017. I truly appreciate the way he explains everything, draws it out until you fully understand. Dr Dietz and his staff are very attentive!
Dr. Dietz is an amazing surgeon with excellent communication. The new procedure he did to repair a herniated disc in my back that was causing me excruciating pain down my leg gave me immediate and long lasting results. I'm so thankful to be enjoying a pain-free life again.

Reputation and credentials of excellent surgeon. Two hour wait not uncommon for office visit. Great chairside manner. Unfortunately, losing patients due to serious staffing issues. No excuse for nurse who refuses to return call for replacement prescription for almost 2 weeks; staff generally disorganized, at times rude and obnoxious - with one staff exception. For over 2 months and counting, only calls on certain phone carriers actually work, others simply don't. File info uncorrected/incomplete
I worked 3 yrs with Dr. Dietze in Oak Ridge TN . Of the 5 states I have worked Dr. Dietze is of the top neuro surgeons working. Lucky LA.
