Dr. Ellison along with his assistant and front desk staff were professional, cheerful and efficient. Dr. Ellison took time to answer all my questions and go over future plans.
I called to make an appointment for my husband. First I was told that they collect the entire amount ($998) upfront and bill insurance after. Weird but ok. The lady on the phone then started accusing me of making an appointment without my husband’s knowledge. Now how is someone supposed to get a surprise vasectomy? It’s ridiculous that she is even allowed to question a very serious and personal health decision. My husband works during business hours, I make all the appointments. Dr. Edward Ellison performed a procedure called Rezum on my prostate on February 27, 2024. For the most part, I guess the procedure went ok. The 1st week was painful with the Folly catheter. Unfortunately after the catheter was taken out, I could not void urine on my own and had to self catheter 1 to 4 times a day for the next two weeks. A nurse showed me how to do this without knowing how to properly complete this procedure. I was also not told how to properly handle the catheter and keep it steril. referenced to this office by the ER was told to be seen immediately been continuously rescheduled. The doctor is unwilling to see me, even though the reference referred me to them.
