Front reception has horrible customer service. I just got off the phone trying to set up an appointment for my children. They acted as if they never heard of their insurance before when I only had their information from the insurance as a provider. They insisted that the only way they could pull up the insurance information was with a member ID number which I didn't have at the moment and said I would call back. Good Dr /nurses
The hospital needs to employ medically trained workers; the staff appears to be auxiliary, superficially trained, or perhaps not trained at all. The front desk phone is rarely answered, and when it is, it’s by a very unprofessional staff member. The staff member responsible for taking vitals should be assigned paperwork instead, as she has no business interfacing with patients. Will force vaccinations on children. Will not schedule an appointment if you don't agree to vaccinations at their appointment. Thought that was super odd when I make the decisions for MY children and have every right to decline. Welp won't be going here.
Doctor Raj is great, but the staff at the reception are unprofessional. I received a notification for 12:15 appointment. when I came in, I was informed that I was actually scheduled in for a 11:45 appointment, but they couldn’t change the system. Being respectful of others time is the least courteousness I would expect from the staff. Only because of the poor experiences at the reception (multiple incidents now) that we have to stop visiting North Houston Internal Medicine Clinic. It’s a shame.
