just trying to find ob gyn that takes Medicaid, this one came up, I called and spoke with Gail, she said they do NOT take Medicaid and none of the drs at North Florida OB GYN take Medicaid, she was kind of snobby and hurt my feelings.

I transferred here at 20 wks because insurance changes. I had to see a nurse first for lab work that I had already done. I think they have that visit just to make money. When I was in labor, the Dr was late so the nurse had to start the delivery process. Did I mention that he messed up my sons circimcision. We have to redo it when he turns 2, and insurance may not cover it. Now I'm pregnant with my second, and their first appointment is 3wks away, and ofcourse I have to see a nurse first. I have been going to this office since 2005 for my yearly pap smears and checkup. My doc is Dr. Laubscher and she is great. I became pregnant last year (2009) and of course decided I was staying with the same practice for my prenatal care and delivery. All pregnant women are encouraged (not forced) to see all of the doctors sometime through their care simply because, as with most OBGYNs, you are not guaranteed one particular doc for your delivery.
