I'd honestly like to select zero stars but then I was afraid the post wouldn't post so one is not what I'd select by choice. I took my 11.5 year old Chocolate lab Mia into N Durham animal clinic in for a check up because she had been having some irregular breathing and had stopped eating. I had previously taken her in just a few months before for a work up by Dr Dawson and was treating her with vitamin supplements upon his instructions and up until this point she'd been doing ok. The Dr that took over for him in my opinion... read more

I LOVE this vet clinic. if you want pricey and swanky, you do you. I like straight talk, bare bones, efficient and lots of care and love of animals.

TLDR: They took amazing care of my nervous wreck of a dog and me. Shout out to that vet tech! I brought Peanut, my absolutely terrified foster dog (well, foster fail, but that's another story), here for her spay because it was where the rescue organization told me to go. I had terrible misgivings about even taking her to get spayed because it had taken us almost a month to even get near her, and even then I had to grab her with oven mitts (another long story) to get her into the house so we could work with her. Eight months ... read more

As a volunteer with Wag Again Rescue, which has over 60 foster dogs in the Houston area, a lot of which are treated at North Durham, we could not be happier with the service North Durham has provided for our foster dogs. The staff is courteous, professional and communication is top notch with them. Carla has always taken care of our foster dogs and our foster families and done right by our four-legged friends. If you live in the Heights area or are willing to make the drive, it is well worth it.

My daughter took her foster for a spay. It was a terrible experience. No after care instructions and the staff was unprofessional. You get what you pay for. Caveat emptor!

You may save some money but you will put your pets at risk. Not worth it! Please go to a reputable clinic that provides good care for your pets and gives full aftercare instructions
