I was referred here by my physician. The first visit wasn’t so bad, wait time was probably less than 10 minutes. The other few appointments after that, was such a hassle. I had an appointment and was in the waiting room for more than an hour. While I watch almost everybody go in and even the people that arrive 20-30 mins after me. If you like your hurting, and mind waiting very long hours. Just go to the hospital. These people don’t care about your needs.
Surgery appears to be successful and well done but the aftercare, communication or follow up has been bad. Called them on Thursday due to extreme pain and was told I'd get a call back Thursday. Not only did I not get a call back on Thursday but Friday either. The "answering service" on the weekend told me to reach out during business hours. I called again to point out how this is an important call and they did eventually connect me with one of the surgeons. How do you say you don't matter without saying you don't matter? Find out they didn't mark a severe allergy you have in your records. Come in for your follow up and they repeat back wrong information like they were off in some other world when you were talking. Then, staff changing Dr orders without consulting the doctor because "that's what he does with all patients who have allergies". Cookie cutter doctoring and changing orders without Drs permission. Still hurtinf after surgery, but can't trust to go back.
Dr. Johnston removed my gallbladder and I would recommend him to anyone! He made sure all of my questions were answered and that everything was set up perfectly. He also got me in for the surgery super quickly! He also takes great care of you post-op and in recovery. I ended up having to be admitted just to be triple safe, and he even visited in person the next day before discharge. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.
Had a concerning experience with Dr. Thomas Wang regarding his evaluation and patient interaction. When previous medical reports about gallbladder polyps were presented, he assessed the images from a distance and said they were clear enough to diagnose. He didn’t take the time for a closer review, and when additional imaging was suggested, he dismissed it, recommending gallbladder removal without much explanation.
