I hired these guys to repair my washing machine. They quoted me $50.00 for the service/trip charge and $235.00 for the repair. Expecting ethical service, I expected the part must be expensive and the repair complicated. After five minutes, the repairman was finished. The part turned out to be a $9.99 part. The remaining $225 for 5 minutes equates to $2,700 per hour and $5,640,000 per year. Biggest rip off I have even encountered in my 48 years!
As we thought, we were royally screwed over by the repair company North Dallas Appliance Repair, run by a guy named Scott. What you are looking at, is a clearly worn down Top Bearing Drum Support and two sets of 4 completely disintegrated Slides. Easily seen, as soon as you open the top of the dryer. And surprise, surprise , the parts only cost $5 a piece. We hired them to "fix" the deafening screech it was making.
