Just another GP “shop” Do not expect more than 5 minutes of the Doctors time even when you do pay for a long appointment and do expect a complete lack of empathy. One of my concerns was dismissed twice by 2 doctors, I received no advice on what kind of specialist/practitioner I need to see to help me resolve said issue and was literally told “we are out of time” to explore that. I came here as I felt a bit let down by the medical system regard a female specific issue. I thought a female centred clinic would be better and more knowledgeable. The day of my appointment they were running behind, which often can't be helped, so I didn't mind waiting. But then when I was seen, it felt like I was a just a task to tick through. This is a wonderful clinic. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The nurses and doctors are knowledgeable and take the time to understand your reason for visit. The staff explained all investigative procedures to me and explained the outcome and findings of each one. They took the time to help me explore options and provided information on every one. If this clinic closes, it will be a major loss to the women of the Sunshine Coast.
