Yuck. The entire team lacks communication amongst themselves and with their patients. They also make you pay for an appointment to be relayed lab results EVERY TIME.

At the end of March 2025, I was contacted by Dr. Christine Clotfelter’s billing office regarding a payment for an appointment I had back in October 2024. This caught me off guard since they typically require co-payments upfront before the visit. They claimed to have tried reaching out to me, but I never received any voicemails, phone calls, text messages, emails, or messages in the patient portal until now. Billed me $50 for a simple message to my dr asking for a speciality referral. The receptionist is beyond rude and curt, disconnected the line before I could finish discussing the reason for my call. Dr had me do a urine test in the office but the office didn't use it in time or lost it or something so they called me and said I'd need to come back or go into a lab to repeat the test. Billing here is beyond questionable and frankly immoral and unethical.
Dr Shah was great, but I got a bill for a very simple message I sent him through the portal, the bill I received cost more than my co-pay for an in-office visit! I've never been billed for a portal message before, especially such a simple question I sent. Patients should be able to message providers at no cost between visits, a $48 bill for a simple message is outrageous.
