NCW Woodshop is a makerspace for woodworkers. Our woodshop offers Memberships and Classes - like a fitness club. As a member we expect you to be able to work safely and independently. If you're not quite there yet, we suggest taking a few classes first or coming during our open shop time for a more supervised session. Had a fantastic Saturday afternoon making a bandsaw bird box in Cashmere at NCW Woodshop. Check out all their weekly classes from make your own charcuterie board to basic woodworking. I have taken a few classes now, and I am so excited about this woodshop! The owner and all the people I’ve met have been warm and welcoming. I am just beginning to learn the ways of the woodworker and I am glad that there is a place to both learn the craft and join a community of woodworkers!
I participated in the safety shop class and it was detailed, informative, very fun and I brought home my first project.
I highly recommend taking a class at NCW Woodshop. I recently participated in the Women's Charcuterie Board class and learned so much. Jon was incredibly helpful in introducing new tools, teaching us different aspects of safety while coaching us through each of our visions for our boards. I was so impressed and will absolutely visit again!
Lots of fun and the class resulted in a beautiful Charcuterie board that I was proud of.
