Out of all the places in town. If you send your loved ones here you are sending them to the worst place. Two people I knew. My grandmother, and a very good friends mom broke there hip here within days of arriving. They got dropped. They also over medicated them. They let appendicitis go unknown, and put someone on hospice saying “it’s there time to go”, and we knew better, and we called 911. Great experience with North central care with helping my Grandma with her broken hip. They did an amazing job, helped her out with rehab and taking care of all the small things to make her stay amazing
My aunt had a burst appendix under her care at North Central, for 5-6 days. The ARNP said it was just at her "end of life", wanted to put her on hospice, and said she did not need more care or a second opinion. We had to call 911 to get her out of there. The paramedics noted "obvious signs of neglect" and at the hospital, they had to administer Naloxone, bc the Nurse Practitioner overprescribed Oxycodone. Its been disappointing at times. Communication has not been the greatest. Some good people working here for sure. Very memorable moments. Some more professional than others. Also, bold face lies will be told by some professionals with a smile. Ne cautious. You really have to stay on top of your busines. Just one person can make it great or make it bad. Pay attention and know who they are for your loved ones sake.
My cholesterol is high because I was served eggs every morning. The nurses and nurse aides were awesome! The physical therapist (a man ) stared at my legs when I went back to bed!!!!!!!!! They tried to move me to a room with a woman who does not allow "her" air conditioner on! It was a sauna! Everybody knew I was going home as soon as I got the cast off my right arm.
