If I could give this place negative stars I would. My loved one was in their care when he died. While in their care he fell out of bed and they called me in the middle of the night to tell me he was ok, but was he? He died a few days later. They were not at all compassionate after he died. When we tried to retrieve his belongings we were greeted on the phone with attitude and the feeling that the person on the other end did not have time to help us. My wife recently spent approximately 18 days at Emerson Health and Rehabilitation (formerly, North Central), and, while there, continually received exceptional support and care! The facility is well staffed, and all members are friendly, helpful, and extremely well qualified. They expertly got my wife back to her normal self so that she could come home and get back to life as before. Care staff: kind/encouraging and understanding - -food is very good - presentation excellent,-, physical therapy and occuoational therapy staff are encouraging, knowlegeable and goal oriented, cleanliness is excellent. I am a retired nurse and have years of experience practicing in this field thank you to all the staff
Our family has been so pleased with the nursing folks and therapists. They are caring and demonstrate compassion and competence. Thank you for all you do!
