Large enclosures for animal comfort. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. Our tram guide cracked jokes the whole ride! The polar bear was hiding last time we visited, but he was showing off for everyone today!
Love coming here, we have been coming to the NC Zoo for roughly 20 years. They have done so many different things to improve the zoo over time. Anxiously waiting for the Asia exhibit to open.
It was good as always. They know exactly what I like and most of the time what I want. Very good and friendly people 👌 👍
The sign as your driving onto the zoo property claims that it's the best zoo in the nation or something similar, which sets your expectations really high, and then fails incredibly hard to meet them. A lot of exhibits only had a single animal. The layout is also terrible. Every zoo or theme park I've ever been to besides this one was a big circle, so it was easy to see everything and end up back where you started without having to retrace your steps.
