Excellent experience!!! Lots of animals to see, zoo is extremely large, must plan multiple visits to view the entire park and all the animals!

Before I even made it inside, I had a problem. I have a membership from a zoo in California. I was excited to come to North Carolina to visit family and come to this particular zoo, because it IS on the list of zoos I can visit with my membership. But the cashier said it wasn’t on the list. Not that I minded paying full price….. not the point. But when I pulled up the list of approved zoos, she didn’t believe me or something and would only go by the list she had.
