Michelle Di Russo is a treasure, spectacular! Saturday at Summerfest I was overwhelmed by her enthusiasm, energy (and clear love for Strauss). Our challenge will be to keep her in NC! She’s going to have a terrific career!
“Very loud”- 10 year old We went for a field trip- the music was explained well in an age appropriate manner. Wonderful program!
Trying to purchase tickets as a gift, where you want paper tickets instead of a download onto a phone, is unnecessarily complicated.
We heard the music of Billy Joel and Elton John last night. It was a great program although it might have been better if they had concentrated on one musician. Too many great songs were left out. As for utilizing metal detectors, I am all for it considering the world we live in today. Something set off one of the fire alarms last night, so everyone had to evacuate the building. The staff managed this in a very orderly manner. It ended up being a false alarm.
