I highly recommend The North Carolina State Veterans Home who to anyone who is looking for excellent care for their loved one. When my Dad began to require 24 hour medical care, we were hesitant for him to ever leave his home of 50 years and unsure if we were doing the right thing. He received the best care we ever could have asked for at the NCSVH. The staff was attentive and always took time to listen to any questions or concerns we had regarding his care. My Dad, who served in the Air Force, has been at the Kernersville VA home since September. He is in the memory care unit. My sister and I feel so blessed and fortunate to have Dad in a place where he has such amazing care. The staff are so kind to my Dad, and the communication from staff regarding his care is excellent. Keynaya Jones is very horrible with the patients here. My dad has expressed his concerns about how he is treated in her care. I have already reported her multiple times & nothing has come about this. I just wish upper management would do something about this.
