The North Carolina Horse Council ( NCHC ) was formed in 1972 by a group of concerned horse owners in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Council was formed as a Non-Profit 501 ( 3 ) c Corporation. Today the Council exists to represent and further the common interest of the entire equine industry in all 100 counties of North Carolina.
