This place is amazing. Happened to stop in after lunch at Pure and Proper. Heather was so helpful and gave us lots of ideas around the area to see and do. We definitely are going to look at some classes. But the best part was the Glass Pumpkin that I purchased for my girlfriend who collects them. It is made by Magnum Mankang and am so appreciative that Heather gave me his bio so I can share it with my girlfriend. This definitely is a place to drop into if your in Black Mountain.
Fantastic experience taking the 3 hr. glass class. Had two young teens with me and they were able to be amazingly hands on and are so proud of their pieces. If you go in the summer months, take water and dress for summer (it’s hot!). Wonderful and welcoming staff. Big shout out to John!
My girlfriend and I did two glassblowing classes and had an amazing time! I made a large paperweight and my girlfriend created a tall vase for her flowers. They came out fantastic thanks to our amazing instructor Colin!
We had so much fun at the glass blowing class with Colin! He was informative about the process and made it look easy. We ended up with beautiful pieces and couldn't resist buying more from the shop. A class makes the perfect gift!
My husband and son surprised me with a class for all three of us. We had a great time, the staff were awesome and we will be back for some more fun.
