I was referred to North Brisbane Psychologists (Lutwyche) by my doctor for a bulk-billed appointment, as I am currently awaiting a Disability Support Pension (DSP). Unfortunately, I had to cancel an appointment just six hours prior due to a sudden and severe Meniere’s drop attack — a medical condition that completely incapacitated me at the time. I’ve been debating sending this for some weeks now, but have decided I feel I should, if for nothing more than feedback. After I was referred, I received a call in which I was asked what my preferences would be regarding seeing a psychologist.
