Jerry is well regarded locally and a good surveyor. Local boatyard owners I know think well of his work. I am of similar opinion and prefer Jerry over anyone else in the area - and I have had several boats, both sail and power. He is a lifelong boater with many years of experience. An honest, carefully conducted and conscientiously prepared survey is what you will receive from Jerry.
Poor quality report of an easy to survey stock sailboat. Incomplete information, out of date pictures, misinformation, and overall misrepresentation of the vessel. Unprofessional and incompetent. Do not use.
DONT USE THIS SURVEYOR for a UT thickness test on your steel boat. He Doesn’t know what he’s doing but is happy to charge you for it. I’ve had all kinds of problems and expenses thanks to his incorrect results. Trying to test steel thickness through deteriating coatings is impossible. I wish I knew then what I know now.
SCAMMER... DO NOT HIRE!!!! Absolutely TERRIBLE experience!!!! DO NOT HIRE!! Charged me for a survey on a boat he did 7yrs ago. And MISSED some of the most obvious items: 1) a 40gal poly water tank under the seat in the salon. 2) windshield wipers didn't work 3) wrong HULL number on the report... Just based on the water tank that was in the salon, i find it hard to believe ANY part of the "bogus" report. When I called to discuss, offered to give half of the survey cost!!!! SCAMMER HATE that I have to give a star at all
