Recology sent me a warning notice that my bin was too full and will be charged next time it happens. . I never overfill it and it must have been a neighbor putting an extra bag in before pick up. Meanwhile their truck spilled paint all over the neighborhood and never bothered to stop what he was doing. Please see photos and not very “green” of them at all. You can see the rain gutter filled with paint. This is the same picture in front of several houses in my neighborhood.
I have a large commercial facility in Petaluma, we needed 16 dumpsters changed out, Jose Alvarado the Operations Supervisor did an amazing job! Coordinated everything around our business needs and guest needs, very polite and professional, great to work with- Recology is very lucky to have such an amazing employee.
Why is it so difficult to pay, phone method useless, customer service no help at all, " just keep trying sir, we know it has issues but should work eventually"
I took the MRF tour today and it was excellent. The work that goes in to recycle our waste is truly remarkable; both high tech and also labor intensive. It also made me realize the impact of our (my) actions on things we take for granted like our weekly trash pickup. Something that might seem innocent like putting the wrong items in the wrong bin and thinking it’s not a big deal means someone, a human, at the MRF needs to fix it. That compounds.
