As a prior military member, my family has moved many times. This move (from MI to FL in February) was by far the smoothest move experience we have had. Scheduling was flexible, cost estimates were thorough and competitive, and the customer service was excellent. Our items were loaded and unloaded with care, and transported quickly (delivered in ~4 days.) Great cross country moving experience. Sean and his team were efficient and careful with our belongings.
Kevin, the owner of University Moving & Storage, was great to work with. He was very responsive to my calls. Vince, the owner and driver of the truck, was very professional and exceeded our expectations. He clearly takes pride in is work. He made sure we were 100% satisfied with the job before leaving. The vehicle transport crew did a great job as well. We will use them for our next move.
I chose this moving company because they told me they did a couple of things that other moving companies did not. They came into our home initially to remove excess items so it could be staged for sale. We had many pictures on the walls that would come down at that time. The sales person said that they would fill nail holes and repaint. It sounded too good to be true and apparently it was because when the move happened and I asked about it, no one knew what I was talking about.
