Great cross country moving experience. Sean and his team were efficient and careful with our belongings.
Kevin, the owner of University Moving & Storage, was great to work with. He was very responsive to my calls. Vince, the owner and driver of the truck, was very professional and exceeded our expectations. He clearly takes pride in is work. He made sure we were 100% satisfied with the job before leaving. The vehicle transport crew did a great job as well. We will use them for our next move.
I chose this moving company because they told me they did a couple of things that other moving companies did not. They came into our home initially to remove excess items so it could be staged for sale. We had many pictures on the walls that would come down at that time. The sales person said that they would fill nail holes and repaint. It sounded too good to be true and apparently it was because when the move happened and I asked about it, no one knew what I was talking about. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience with North American Van Lines. Once they had us sign the contract it was very hard to get anyone to call us back. They overestimated the weight even after we questioned them and asked to be relooked at once our stuff was packed and they came in even higher. They estimated us at 22.6K and we weighed in at 16.3K.
