We recently moved from Michigan to California. We chose North American Van Lines (University Moving) because the woman who gave us the quote said “We understand it’s stuff, but it is your life and we treat it with respect.” This was the worst experience we have ever had moving and the most costly, even worse, the company has done nothing to rectify it. We had the absolute best experience with this company from the beginning with our estimate to the end of the line at delivery. We moved from Michigan to Florida and everything went very smoothly. The price was fair and reasonable. The communication from their office and the driver was outstanding. Thank you Lauren and Tyler for your professionalism and courtesy. We would definitely use you again if we were to move and will recommend you to family and friends.
I found one of my movers (Adrian) to be very unprofessional. He constantly complained. He dumped 90% of my boxes in the basement and not the rooms that were marked on the boxes. He also marked several boxes with 2 or 3 yellow stickers to make it seem as if I had more boxes than I did. I'm not sure if this is company policy or just him, but I know that this is unethical behavior. I will not use this company again, nor would I recommend them.
