Our funeral home was first located on West Washington Street and moved to 112 Main Street at the end of the 19th century. The building was the first one in the city to have an elevator. The furniture store business was on the first floor and the undertaking business was conducted on the second floor. In 1946, a specific building for the funeral home was constructed at our present location. The furniture store remained on Main Street until it closed in the late 1950's. Ron was awesome to work with and provided a beautiful service for our family! The home gave off cozy vibes. Highly recommend !
Although the circumstances were very tragic for us, Ron and his team definitely made this process very comforting. Not only did Ron thoroughly explain everything, he was very patient. He showed empathy. I have so many positive things to say and I am very grateful that we chose them for my father’s funeral. Ron, keep doing what you’re doing.. When my dad unexpectedly passed away, we were so lost as to what to do. We had attended funerals there before and so we choose to work with Norris-Segert Funeral home, and I am so glad we did. Ron and his team guided us through one of the hardest times of my families life. He was so compassionate, communicative and worked diligently to take as much off our plates as possible, which was such a relief.
