I called for a "free" consultation and I was offered the choices of receiving it over the phone or in person. Due to covid-19, I chose over the phone for safety reasons. The lady then told me that over the phone, the charges would be $200 for this "free" consultation. When I asked her why, she replied with "Um, its because in person its more detailed for the attorney.' As if that makes any sense or is a logical reason to cough up $200.
