Decent auto service Decent place to get some work done on your car. I personally recommend Deptula over anyone else in town though. But this place isn't bad, have sent several referrals there when my boyfriend worked for AutoZone.
Satisfied Customer! I've worked at a Big 3 Dealership for over 20years... I needed local help a few years ago and Norm personally took care of me and my vehicle.. A fair deal! My car was making a loud noise whenever I turned, so I called Norm's to fix it. Norm's called me the next day to discuss what was wrong. Not knowing anything about cars, he explained the problem in a way I could understand. He gave me a price quote (A completely REASONABLE one) and had it fixed by 3 pm the next day. My car was out of the shop in 2 DAYS, and for a great price! I will continue to use norm's and recommend them to everyone!
unfinished business I took my car to norms because the oil gage read no oil pressure. Norm told me that the gage was broke and not to worry. One month later the engine dead. this was not the first time i had had problems dealing with norms. but it is the last time i deal with norm.
Freakin nightmare over a tire!! Had my car towed to norms after hours, in the morning I Called norms at 8:00 a.m. to see if i could have my tire repaired by 9:30 a.m. because i had a funeral to be at 11:00 a.m., if not i would have it towed somewhere else, they said no problem by 9:30 A.M., when i got there at 8:40 they had not even started looking at it, ended up not having my size in stock, repair man said if i can locate a tire they will install it, I quickly drove up to discount tire and purchased a new tire and dropped ... read more
As a woman I've dealt with a tremendous amount of dishonesty when getting my vehicle repaired. Norm is the only mechanic I trust and a genuinely good guy. Also the hours of operation are wonderful for people that are at work during the usual 8-6 most places are open.
Worth the drive, if you are not from South Lyon. Norm is a great guy with a talent for cars. Honest, realiable and quality repairs.
Fabulous place to take your vehicles. They are very honest and have very reasonable prices. Recently was quoted $300 less than another shop to replace a head gasket! They are even helpful on the phone with questions and quotes and such.
