trying to pass off old parts as new in car repairs.
this particular repair shop has "dishonest wallet burner" written all over it. During a recent family trip, our car broke down with a bad AC compressor clutch. We stopped in to see what could be done to get us back on the road. The very first thing I noticed was how they attempted to run the business like a doctor's office, where you have to go through a couple of secretaries to speak to or even see the mechanic. CAN NOT BE TRUSTED Brought my Jeep in to have the shocks replaced and the clutch fixed. I was OVERCHARGED... even for a new price estimate. And what I got was my shocks cleaned and a used clutch that still didn't work right. I didn't get a block before I turned around to complain it wasn't fixed just to be told I didn't know what I was talking about. New parts on my invoice were not even bothered to be replaced. I guess they saw the out of town plates and thought that WOMAN won't know what to look for.... $$$$$$$$$
