I have lived at The Normandie on the UES for 10 years now, after been a west-sider for most of my life. My life at The Normandie has been gracious and amazing on so many levels. The proximity to Museum Mile and Central Park is remarkable. And bus and subway transportation is great. The health club and rooftop pool, and sun decks, are unparalleled in their amenities. I lived here for three years and loved it. The biggest headache was the elevators and the slow to respond maintenance for the laundry room (actual maintenance for your apartment is incredible). The location is excellent, near the Q and 6 trains - makes rides to LGA quick and about a 10-15 minute walk to the park (about 3 minutes if the dogs were pulling!). Looking for an apartment in NYC on a very tight timeframe can be daunting. We knew we would have to move quickly after residency match day. The folks at Normandie Court, particularly Jennifer, have been a breath of fresh air - helpful, accommodating, gracious, knowledgeable, and even happy to answer the myriad of questions we had. From setting the appointment to viewing additional floorplans to navigating the application and lease and now getting ready for move-in, we have felt fully supported.
Jennifer was a huge help during the touring, application, and signing process. She was extremely responsive to my many questions and very informative, providing thorough guidance each step of the way.
Jennifer was very professional and knowledgeable. She made the application process less intimidating and easier. She is very attentive and nice.
