Terrible all the way around. Typical problems without help. No reframing. No integration. Like all the stuff a good psych will do he doesn't do.
just bad
Dr. Shulman is very easy to talk to. He helps you to understand what you’re feeling and guides you to answers. I have already recommended him several times.
Dr. Shulman is a wonderful, kind man who listens and lets a person talk. He offers solutions and encouragement. I am becoming a stronger person because of him. When I had an extremely emotional set back, he was there for me.
Norman M. Shulman came to visit my husband while a patient at Crown Point (Lubbock, TX) in January 2018. My husband told him he did NOT need his services since his mental health was fine. Shulman came a second time even though he had been told my husband did not need any counseling from him. Norman Shulman charged my husband for 3 visits (each 2 days apart) for a total of $310.00. Is this a scam??..absolutely it is!!!! This kind of false report to insurance companies is what raises our premiums!
Dr. Schulman was instrumental in helping me obtain " service connection," for a condition that I had been fighting the VA over since 1991. He has the ability to truly understand very complex issues and is an excellent advocate for veterans. He is fair and has a helpful attitude. Traits sadly lacking among many VA mental health care providers.
Has helped my family and me tremendously!!
Dr. Shulman is seriously a life saver. I feel that I am able to speak freely and openly with him. I never feel judged or challenged. This is not to say that he will not tell me when I am in the wrong which is something I like because that is his job is to be unbiased. I always come out feeling refreshed and much more confident in whatever subject was weighing me down. I plan to continue having Dr. Shulman be one of my main areas of support!
Accused patient of being delusional and "seriously sick" for imagining her husband was having an affair. Next therapist was able to get husband to admit to his affair and everything that Schulman violently accused the wife of imagining.
Norman M. Shulman, EDD has a 2.7 star rating with 14 reviews.
