Norm, Charlotte and Christine have been amazing with us from day one. Sadly due to family issues on the Gold coast we have to move away from the area. The team have been very supportive through this difficult time and we appreciate all their help from day one. They are not just professional, they listen, are compassionate and as helpful as is possible in any way possible. Saying goodbye to them today was like saying goodbye to family. We wish them every success in the future.

I have built three project homes before, but this time I wanted to build with a “real” builder. I wanted a builder who understands our individual needs and who is not building 20+ homes at one time. After much online research I found Norm Wales. Now I know it’s hard these days to trust written reviews but I could not find one bad review. I have nothing nice to say, so I’ll leave it at this. I regret building through NWC, I hope others are more careful and don’t fall for the sales talk and promises. If it doesn’t feel right, trust your intuition and walk away from this business. We told NWC that our initial budget was $650k but had some wiggle room because we wanted to add some “non standard” features. We commenced our journey with Norm Wales Constructions in August 2023 as we wished the building project to commence in July 2024. The project, including demolishing and removing the old structure commenced in July 2024 and in April 2025 we took possession of our new home As we were living in Darwin until the house was built, all early meetings and discussions were conducted remotely, first by telephone and later by Zoom.
