Rude simple as just rude
My husband took my jaguar to the garage as I had a warning sign on the dashboard about the water in a fuel tank. I am not a technical person, but I trust the garage mechanics would know what they are doing and advise the owner if they dont. . In a couple of days, we came to pick up my car and paid £596 for the full service, but the problem wasn't sorted. I booked my VW golf in (2009 diesel) as the glow plug light kept coming on causing the car to go into limp mode, this basically means the car looses power but does not stall, it clears when you restart the engine. This was clearly understood as the owner of the garage, referred to as the grumpy old man in previous reviews, taught me the term 'limp mode' when I dropped the car off. Had service and MOT done here before without a problem. This time I had a broken rear light and indicators. I was able to bring the car in straight away for it to be looked at. Replacement was ordered straight away and fitted a couple of days later. Excellent (and friendly) service and a fair price.
