As a nurse, I am really surprised to see bad reviews as we have been with Dr Nordquist for over 11 years. He used to run himself ragged working extreme hours caring for patients in the hospital, nursing homes and in the office and didn't take vacations and had limited help so I have no problems now that he has more help with him finally letting them do more of the "grunt work". I love Dr Nordquest, hes one of the hardest working Drs, hes compassionate and caring he took the hippocratic Oath to a a higher degree. His staff have always called me back.
Last Tuesday I felt so bad I went to my so called Dr, Dr Nordquist office only to be told I have to drive around and get my own test for Covid/Flu A/Flu B so I went to Walgreens $28.00 out of pocket. Took it home ,barely done the test I felt so bad. It showed I had Covid. I then as i was told to do by his receptionist called them back and someone at least answered ( phones are always messed up). Long wait, and felt rushed. But the worst was his elitist comment when I said I tutor special needs and remedial Maths to help students fill gaps and catch up, he said, "why bother they will just be a burger flipper all their lives". He went on to list all his academic achievements. This was a couple of months ago, and I have not been back.
Nursing staff is rude and talks over you. The office staff won’t send you bloodwork paperwork and won’t answer the phone. I got charged $50 cash for a doctors note. Then my specialist knew my doctor by name when I mentioned that. So he’s one of the only doctors doing that. With so many doctors in the area, it’s easy to find a better one.
