Bought boat from Martin Karu/NMT on Ebay, on initial launch motor was knocking and overheated and shut down. NMT would not refund the deal. They have also failed to provide the proper paperwork for registering the trailer and have not supplied the bolster cushions that we agreed upon to finalize the deal and it has been 2 months. I had a 350 searay sundancer needed to be shipped from Miami beach to long island,new york and Martin was very helpful, i had a problem with pricing to have the radar arch removed at the marina were i bought the boat and he found someone else much cheaper to do the job. then he hauled the boat up to new york and always gave me updates were the boat was and i actually received the boat 1hr earlier then expected. Bought a boat from NMT, and had nothing but problems with the engine and bad fuel. Cost $2500 to have it all fixed. The radar doesn't work either. I had to do an update to the system, only to find out the radar head doesn't spin, hence it doesn't work. I also had, and still have problems with registering the trailer. Martin gave me bogus VIN numbers, and now the numbers he sent me are for a 22' trailer when the boat I bought is 24'. Martin is a fraud, do not do any business with this guy.

If I could give this company negative stars I would. Never in my life have we experienced such frustration and disappointment with a business. Almost from the beginning of our interaction, Boat Trailer Depot/Nordic Marine Traders - and Martin in particular – acted in a highly unprofessional and unsatisfactory manner. Used Martin of Nordic Marine Traders for a 29' boat haul from Fort Myers, FL to CT. His communication from beginning to end was fantastic and he delivered slightly ahead of schedule. I would highly recommend Martin and Nordic.
