Spent several nights here with my dog. Located in South Sister Bay, you are in the heart of shops, restaurants and many outdoor activities. Its an older hotel. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and comfortable.

The Nordic Lodge exceeded our expectations and was everything we needed for a weekend of exploring Door County. The rooms were cozy and quiet, the beds were comfy, the continental breakfast was a bonus, and we felt safe. The location was perfect as well. We would definitely visit again and would recommend the Nordic Lodge as a great, budget-friendly option.

Ok, this is a mixed and honest review. Our family of 3 stayed two nights. Our room was petite, so know that. Nothing fancy, but quaint and clean. It was nice to have the option to open a window and the door to the outside trees. The beds need an upgrade. We had two queens and they both sunk in. Plenty of clean towels and housekeeping even came the 2nd day and replenished. The pool was to be a highlight of our trip, but it was really disappointing. Room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Continental breakfast. You can microwave prepackaged breakfast sandwiches, waffles and such. Favorite part was the private patio right on top of woods! Very reasonably priced. No complaints. Would return. We always stay at an upscale hotel in Ephraim, but decided to try this because of their location. Pleasantly surprised!
