Nordic Gardens is a magical haven of plants, animals, friendly faces and festive-fun. It is a favorite spot in the Roaring Fork Valley and we visit regularly. The goats, dogs and kitties have become friends of ours and we always look forward to feeding the peacocks, chickens, rabbits, etc. There is a lovely gift-shop where staff will help you/your kiddo fill a bucket with feed for the animals, for free! Great spot for locals. Friendly staff & friendly prices! Plus they have animals! Bunnies, Peacock, chickens/local eggs, goats, dogs, cat! Basically heaven.
We came here in December and it was great. It was a nice little activity to take the kids to. They had a little barn and where the kids could feed the goats and chickens. They also had bunnies and peacocks to look at. We also went into the greenhouses which were set up as ‘light shows’ - there were inflatables and such for the kids to walk through and look at. The woman working in the little shop/shed was super friendly. Will come back.
