Our Duramax started posing all sorts of issues apparently linked to the dpf and eventually went into limp mode. Over the phone Eric took his time to explain the possible issues and how he would address them. We had our vehicle towed to his business and he did not disappoint. He was courteous, patient with my many questions and certainly delivered as per our expectations. I highly recommend using his services.
5 star experience 5 star results. Our trucks DPF system failed. Eric gave us a quote over the phone then gave us all the pros and cons of treatment vs replacement. We decided to treat the system. We were shown before and after pictures and given updates. Eric finished the job in the exact time and for the exact amount that we were quoted. Was having DEF Pump issues. Eric was able to diagnose and repair quickly. He tracked down the parts, which were hard to find. Repaired and got me back on the road. Will definitely be a repeat customer for all future maintenance.
He cleaned the DPF, SCR and DOC. You’d think that he would tell me that the dpf harness was completely burnt up and wires were crumbling. I found this out driving my truck home from the shop and having it completely shut off. Took it to a shop for the repair and found that the forced regen that he did, never even worked. The temps never got over 480 degrees. Once the mechanic got into the computer, he found that at one point that the temp hit 1800 degrees. Temps like that make the dpf crumble and ruin it.
