Hands down the WORST experience I have ever had with a physician. Zero stars if that was an option. As my body wasted away with a progressive nerve disease, Dr. Dang made me wait TEN MONTHS to get back into see him for a blood test result which was NEGATIVE. Then he proceeded to give me yet another EMG, telling me he'd get back to me within a week with the results. The lady who checked me out at the front desk this morning was through, efficient, and kind while answering my questions. I really appreciate the good patient ettiquate.
Although Dr. Dang understood the tests available and started diagnosis, as soon as I began to ask any questions regarding diagnosis / tests, he became defensive and told me that recommendations I have received from other neurologists were not tests he was going to run without any reason as to why he would not run them. I will be going with one of the other neurologists I met with.
Ok first I tried to schedule my appointment online as I do not like sitting on hold. The first time I did this was 10/21 and my confirmation stated they would reach out to confirm. Three days passed and no response so I went and tried again on 10/24 that time I was given an email response that they sent my information over to the care team and they would call me back to confirm an appointment. Dr. Ni and his assistant, Roshni are both thorough, patient and kind. They have shown me compassion and have done a deep-dive in trying to resolve every symptom I’ve acknowledged. I’ve been seen at the Bloomington/Edina office twice and have had great experiences both times. This time, I went to Lakeville, as it’s closer for me.
