Terrible! I was referred to Abbott Northwestern neurology by my primary care physician. The nuerologist knew I was over her head so she referred me to Nuran. I walked in to their Lake Elmo clinic on my own with no assistance. After 3 months of tests, waiting, more tests, and more waiting I was told nothing. I’ve been going to Noran for almost 25 years and I have been very happy with the provider's, the service and their locations as well. Its a very welcoming environment starting at the front desk staff, provider & or services your receiving all the way to the check out staff that helps you schedule your next appointments, it’s friendly, organized , streamlined and easy. My doctor had the nerve to tell me that "now is the time for migraine" since there are so many options. Migraine has been a chronic problem for me for 30 years. The doctor has prescribed me two preventatives, neither worked. I called last week to see what the next steps are because she made it seem like there's SO MANY OPTIONS. Scheduling lied to me about what kind of appointment they were booking. I was explicitly told I was booked for a MRI, and there was no diagnostic testing done at the appointment. This crap communication seems consistent with other reviews. Having said that, I saw Dr Shahkhan and he was kind and thoughtful and took my experience with pain very seriously.
