I underwent a CO2 laser treatment to address some small keloid scars. After the first session, I did not notice any improvement, despite paying $500 for the session of relatively small areas. I asked the doctor for before-and-after photos to compare results, and although he agreed, I never received them. I also inquired about corticosteroid injections since the laser did not seem effective, but I did not get any response.
