It was out of the way and we were the only mid afternoon customers. Food was fresh made and done perfectly. Cook came out to talk to us. Definitely on our repeat list.
Dont let the outside put you off inside is an gem! Its beautifully done. Like bring in Europe The service is fast and friendly and the food is amazing especially the fish. We were there on wine day so a bottle was half price. We tell.all our guests driving to or from Maine to Canada to stop there.
We really wanted to like this place after reading all of the amazing reviews. Unfortunately, it was just so-so. I was very disappointed with my dinner. The scallops tasted like ammonia, which is a sure sign that they are on their way to spoiled and the shrimp were almost the size of salad shrimp. For the cost of the meal, it was not worth it to me. Maybe we chose the wrong dishes, so if we go back, I'll avoid the seafood.
Here, you're sure to find tasty, fresh, high-quality dishes! It's the ideal place to stop rather than a fast-food restaurant. The service is fast, the food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. What more could you ask for? It's a rare find, especially on this road, and it's perfect! The welcome is warm and friendly. I highly recommend it. For me, it's definitely a place to mark on Google Maps, where I'll stop every time I pass by!
after surrounding areas had no lobster rolls (11/12/25) nook & cranny was the move, they got me. SO WORTH the hour drive for me. great atmosphere and great food.
