Get the xiaochi platter, barbecue mushroom mogu, duck dumpling, tea egg bao, and crispy garlic rice. Skip the burger bao. No cash accepted, only cards. Maybe avoid rush times: the kitchen struggled to keep up and the dining room got smokey like Korean BBQ.
I had the old fashioned and it was really nice. The bartender Kyle was incredibly kind, attentive, and made excellent recommendations. Every cocktail I tried was beautifully made and tasted amazing. I’ll definitely be coming back.
Amazing experience. Absolutely stunned at their AYCE for $49 (some options add extra). We tried the Block French Toast, Spicy Fried Chicken Bao, Tea Egg Bao, Xiaochi Platter, Braised Beef Noodles, Peking-Ish Duck Dumplings, and Chicken Jirou Barbeque, and ended up at around $120 for 2. There was only one server at the time we got there, who had 5 tables by himself, but around 12:30pm to 1pm there were more people helping so it ended up being lovely.
