This is a very good noodle shop, with some interesting, different alternatives along with many of the more common items. And the dishes we had were very good. The one area for improvement is the service. The person who waited on us was very nice for sure, but wasn't helpful or forthcoming when we asked questions about particular dishes, and, more importantly, our wait person never came back to check on us, and was really slow getting us boxes and our bill. Three of us came in for an early dinner to our favorite noodle house - 501! A smiling hostess welcomed us with a very warm and friendly greeting, then the owner immediately came over and asked if my son would be having his usual Tonkotsu Ramen. We ordered two bowls of that and the Khao Soi - the crispy tofu version. Our food came out very quickly. The khao soi was topped with crispy fried ramen noodles, red onion slivers and green onion.
