Went to Nomads to get a small, inexpensive buffing job done on my car. The result was not ideal after the first attempt. Still a noticeable mark on the car. I asked to bring it in again and he (Rob) agreed. So I tried to return for a second attempt, however, this proved difficult. Returning calls/messages or getting hold of Rob was tough (Red flag). BEWARE, DON'T HAVE ANY WORK DONE HERE I took my wife's car in for a small repair. Rob offered to respray the whole car and wheels for $2400. The paint job has too many faults to list here, but basically drips all over and very poor workmanship. Returned it for him to rectify and he promised he would, had the car for over 3 weeks. Poor communication and dishonesty. Rob admitted it was poor workmanship. Mistakenly, I gave him a 3rd chance to rectify his work. The car returned worse. Do not get near this place! The owner Rob, has taken my car for repair, promising he’ll get the work done within a week. Rob called me after a couple of days saying he needed nearly $2000 for parts to complete the repair. I trusted him and transferred the money. After 3 weeks (!) the car wasn’t ready yet. Rob kept saying he got the parts and the car is nearly done. Suddenly Rob stopped answering his phone. I drove there just to find out that Rob is CLOSING HIS PLACE. He hasn’t touched the car. DO NOT GET ANY PAINT OR PANEL WORK DONE HERE. I have seen kids do better finger painting. Nomad Automotive was once a good honest business with Geoff there, but Robs work is so far below substandard it’s a joke. To start the original colour of our car is “tangerine orange pearl” Rob painted the 2 doors “sunshine orange”, other defects include overspray, sanding marks, as well as marks in the paint, body filler blobs on the sill that didn’t need repair or filler, body lines where wonky and didn’t match up as well as dust in t... read more
