My grandpa and aunt both went to him. He completely mismanaged their blood pressure. He prescribed cold medicine that could not be taken with the blood thinner that my grandpa was on and it wasn’t caught until he went to the pharmacy to pick it up. They both ended up in the hospital with complications with their heart and blood pressure because of medication changes that he made.
Having been his patient for seven years, I can say that Dr. Hagood is the finest physician I have ever had. He takes the time to listen to you and works with you to partner in your healthcare. He's the most caring and compassionate physician I have met.
If I could give, zero I would. Dr. Haygood refused to release my mother's medical records - she had provided written consent - which is a HIPPA violation. He did not want to help her transfer to a different doctor.
