He's a misrepresentation of the law. He knowingly and willingly filed the incorrect petition with courts on my brother's case. He allowed the judge to force him to remain on my brother's case. He request to represent himself and was denied this right. If this isn't a conflict of interest, then what will you call it.
In Florida, criminal defendants have a constitutional right to represent themselves in court, known as pro se representation. This right is established under the Sixth Amendment and further supported by the Supreme Court case, Faretta v. California. However, this right is not absolute and hinges on the defendant's competency to understand the proceedings and waive their right to counsel knowingly and intelligently.

Mr.Nohlgren is absolutely the best, he extremely smart, efficient and professional. My family will forever be grateful for what he did for my son whom was facing life in prison. I have never in all my years seen a murder charge disposed of in such a speedy amount of time. I will recommend anyone who’s in need of an attorney to retain John Nohlgren….
