An absolutely fantastic dinner at Nobu in Caesars Palace. The food was exceptional, but what really stood out to me was how thoughtfully the restaurant itself is designed. Despite being completely full of people, the dining room was surprisingly quiet and acoustically comfortable. I’ve been fortunate enough to enjoy fine dining in many parts of the world, so I’m very comfortable paying premium prices when the food, service and overall experience justify it. Unfortunately, Nobu Las Vegas did not. We had dinner for six and the bill was around $1,200. The place is beautiful and the food is good. But things like the tacos are WILDLY overpriced. And they require you on the menu to buy 2 minimum. It's at least $20 for one laughably small taco. They are literally the size of my thumb. And splitting the check between a group was like rocket science for the host. We had to do our own math and split it ourselves.

We made our reservation months in advance to celebrate our anniversary, and honestly, this dinner was a big deal for us. A bit too much hype. I have had better Sushi for 1/4 the price. Did not have any candles or lamps so had to use our cell light to see the menu. It was so dim in there! Could barely see what we were eating. Get some Amazon lanterns! Rolls were tiny. I get it, Vegas is overpriced but I still expected to be wowed. It fell flat. I’ll pay for good food but is was 8/10 and I expect 10/10 for that price.
